The best of the 5-club tournament. Ness headed in a Torbet pass (8). Thistle had the best of it and Torbet scored with a pen (42). Rangers pressed but their forwards failed to gel and Thistle ran out “worthy winners“ (GH). A cup to keep! In total, £819 (around £43,000) was raised.
