Thistle's forwards were in rampant form and everything seemed to come off for them. A McMullan free-kick opened the scoring (7) then Branscombe, Morgan and Bowie made it 4-0 at half-time. Dumbarton wasted some good chances after the restart then Thistle had all the play. Harris (N) scored twice late on.
