Thistle did all the pressing in the first half yet it was mid-table Motherwell who took a shock half-time lead. Thistle rallied after the break and McTavish equalised then goals by Bowie and Morrison ensured Thistle ran out comfortable winners. But for wasted chances by Whittle it could have been a bigger win.
