Caley gave Thistle a scare by taking the lead (5) but Branscombe scored with a fine shot on the angle (30). He, Morrison and Raisbeck all scored by half-time to kill off any likelihood of a fight-back by the Highland League side allowing them to ease off and merely contain a stubborn but well beaten Caley side.
