Thistle played the 1st nine minutes without a goalkeeper. Port went 1-up and hit the bar soon after but Gray scored from distance then defensive mix-up let in Riddell for a half-time lead. Port were the better team in the second half and although keeper Eadie had a fine game, they scored from a scramble.
