Both teams made chances before Duncan scored on the half-hour. He headed his 2nd goal from a corner after the break to give Thistle their 2nd win of the season. It was a closely fought game in a sea of mud. Dundee (in liquidation) came into it late on (particularly down the left wing) but to no avail.
