Both sides were under strength. A scrimmage produced the only goal of the first half. It was 2-0 soon after the restart but “a good run and pass” (GEP) set up Campbell. Celtic threatened to walk off when Thistle were awarded a late pen but Lamont (R) (sportingly?) “shot for the corner flag” (SR).
