It was even early on. Royal Albert played some decent stuff but it was Murray who scored (15) with “a beauty” (GH). In the second half Murray and Gilchrist scored but Royal Albert hit back with 3 to earn the draw.

At Inchview. The visitors kicked off. After some give and take play the Thistle got in and forced a corner, but nothing came of it. Faulds and Douglas put in some good work for the Albert, but the ball was well returned by John McMoreland. After a brief attack by the visitors, the Thistle resumed aggresive tactics, and Murray scored with a beauty 15 minutes from the start. At half-time the score was-Partick Thistle, 1; Royal Albert, 0. Result - A draw - 3 goals each.
