Martin George William Cameron was born on Friday, 16th June, 1978, in Dunfermline, Fife. The 6' 1 (12st 12lbs) forward temporarily transferred to John Lambie's Thistle on Friday, 1st March, 2002, from his parent club, Bristol Rovers. Aged 23, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 2nd March, 2002, in a 2-2 draw at home to Arbroath in the SFL First Division. Martin scored his only goal for Thistle on Wednesday, 27th March, 2002, in a 2-1 defeat away to Clyde in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 20th April, 2002, in a 1-0 win at home to Raith Rovers in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 9 occasions. Martin's club-list included Craigmillar Thistle, Alloa Athletic, Bristol Rovers, Partick Thistle, St Mirren, Gretna, Shamrock Rovers and Forfar Athletic. |
