Mark McGuigan was born on Monday, 7th November, 1988, in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire. The 6' 4 (13st 12lbs) forward signed for Jackie McNamara's Thistle on Friday, 30th March, 2012, having most recently been with Abertay University. Aged 23, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 31st March, 2012, in a 3-2 defeat at home to Livingston in the SFL First Division. Mark scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 7th April, 2012, in a 3-1 win away to Ayr United in the SFL First Division. He scored his second and final goal for the club on Saturday, 28th April, 2012, in a 1-1 draw at home to Falkirk in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for Thistle on Tuesday, 9th July, 2013, in a 5-1 friendly win away to Annan Athletic, having appeared as a Jag on 29 occasions. Mark's club-list included Blantyre Victoria, St Andrews United, Forfar Athletic, Abertay University, Partick Thistle, Albion Rovers, Stranraer, Stenhousemuir and East Fife. |
