Mark Donaghy was born on Tuesday, 29th August, 1972, in Glasgow.

The 5' 8 (9st 13lbs) midfielder signed for Tommy Bryce's Thistle on Friday, 26th June, 1998, having most recently been with East Fife.

Aged 25, he made his debut appearance on Monday, 20th July, 1998, in a 2-1 friendly win away to Stenhousemuir.

There were no goals for Mark during his spell with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Tuesday, 4th August, 1998, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the SFL Second Division, having appeared as a Jag on 6 occasions.

Mark's club-list included Giffnock North, Celtic, Porirua Viard United, Morton, Shettleston Juniors, East Fife, Partick Thistle and Alloa Athletic.
