Leigh Granville Palin was born on Sunday, 12th September, 1965, in Worcester, Worcestershire. The midfielder signed for John Lambie's Thistle circa Saturday, 2nd January, 1993, having most recently been with Burnley. Aged 27, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 2nd January, 1993, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Motherwell in the SFL Premier Division. There were no goals for Leigh during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Tuesday, 2nd March, 1993, in a 1-0 defeat away to Aberdeen in the SFL Premier Division, having appeared as a Jag on 5 occasions. Leigh's club-list included Aston Villa, Shrewsbury Town, Nottingham Forest, Bradford City, Stoke City, Hull City, Rochdale, Burnley, Partick Thistle and Tadcaster Albion. |
