general notes
  • Turned out to be a one-off League, the purpose of which was to let shopkeepers get to a match on their midweek day off.
  • 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw.
  • Those finishing level on points were deemed equal in their table placing.
  • It was intended that clubs would play each other only once home OR away, seemingly with no due care to balance, and a preference to play the games in Glasgow. The competition was not completed.
  • Morton 2 St Mirren 1 (10/9/1912) was played at Shawfield. Although a neutral venue fixture, it's recorded in this table as a home game for Morton for practical purposes.
  • Table compiled by The Thistle Archive; all 15 games have been press-verified for accuracy.
  • The last supplementary League that Thistle would play in.
