Kobei Moore was born on Tuesday, 30th November, 2004, in Birmingham. The 6' 1 (11st 0lbs) forward joined Mark Wilson's Thistle for a trial in July, 2025, having most recently been with Aston Villa. Aged 20, he made his only appearance on Tuesday, 1st July, 2025, in a 3-2 friendly win at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle. There were no goals for Kobei in his one-off appearance for Thistle. At July, 2025, his club-list included Aston Villa, Fleetwood Town, Partick Thistle and Larne. |
![]() The son of Stefen Moore (Aston Villa, Queens Park Rangers, St Neots Town, Solihull Moors). Kobei joined the Aston Villa academy at the age of nine and drew a lot of positive reports as he progressed over the course of the next 10 years. Technical analysts have observed that he's a left-footer, inclined to make runs in the inside right channel, cutting onto his stronger foot. It's also said that he's adept in dropping into a false nine position providing he is alongside two quick wingers, although he has made strides in stretching play with runs in behind. Kobei signed a scholarship with Aston Villa in July 2021, and went on to impress in their Under-18s squad. It wasn’t long until he was getting attention from the Under-21s, where he went on to play 37 games and scoring 13 goals, before making his first senior move away from Villa in January 2025, signing a loan deal with League 2 Fleetwood Town, where he made 10 league appearances and scored once. His long association with Aston Villa came to an end in the summer of 2025 when he was one of 13 Villains to be released. Literally the day after his contract had expired, Kobei was in the red and yellow of Partick Thistle, and played as a trialist centre-forward in the opening 64 minutes of a pre-season friendly win at home to Inverness CT in the unusual surroundings of Petershill Park. Kobei impressed (and scored) in a closed doors friendly against Hamilton a few days later and a deal was looking like a possibility, but Mark Wilson's tight budget went to Tony Watt in the end. Kobei doesn't hang about, and he switched to the Northern Ireland Premiership for 2025-26, signing a season long deal with Larne on 22 July 2025. Within 48 hours, he was making his debut as the Invermen drew 0-0 with Kosovan team Pristina in the first leg of their UEFA Conference League qualifier. |
