 Kieran Wright was born on Saturday, 1st April, 1999, in Stepps, North Lanarkshire. The 6' 2 (12st 6lbs) goalkeeper temporarily transferred to Ian McCall's Thistle on Friday, 28th August, 2020, from his parent club, Rangers. Aged 21, he made his debut on Friday, 2nd October, 2020, in a 2-0 friendly defeat at home to Heart of Midlothian. Kieran registered his first clean-sheet on Saturday, 14th November, 2020, in a 0-0 draw at home to Greenock Morton in the League Cup. He registered the last of his 7 clean-sheets on Tuesday, 23rd March, 2021, in a 3-0 win at home to Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup. He played his last game for the club on Tuesday, 4th May, 2021, in a 3-2 defeat away to Montrose in the SPFL League One, having appeared as a Jag on 17 occasions. At September, 2024, Kieran's club-list included Rangers, Gala Fairydean Rovers, Albion Rovers, Raith Rovers, Alloa Athletic, Partick Thistle, Dumbarton, Livingston and Airdrieonians. |
