Julian Raymond Broddle was born on Sunday, 1st November, 1964, in Laughton-en-le-Morthen, South Yorkshire. The 5' 9 (11st 7lbs) forward signed for John Lambie's Thistle circa Monday, 1st February, 1993, having most recently been with St Mirren. Aged 28, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 13th February, 1993, in a 4-0 defeat at home to Dundee United in the SFL Premier Division. There were no goals for Julian during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 13th March, 1993, in a 1-1 draw at home to St Johnstone in the SFL Premier Division, having appeared as a Jag on 6 occasions. Julian's club-list included Sheffield United, Scunthorpe United, Barnsley, Plymouth Argyle, St Mirren, Partick Thistle, Raith Rovers, East Fife and Ross County. |
