Jukka Santala was born on Tuesday, 10th September, 1985, in Helsinki.

The 6' 3½ (13st 0lbs) forward temporarily transferred to Dick Campbell's Thistle on Thursday, 4th August, 2005, from his parent club, Rangers.

Aged 19, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 6th August, 2005, in a 0-0 draw at home to Stirling Albion in the SFL Second Division.

Jukka scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 20th August, 2005, in a 3-2 win at home to Dumbarton in the SFL Second Division.

He scored the last of his 11 goals on Saturday, 31st December, 2005, in a 2-1 win away to Dumbarton in the SFL Second Division.

That turned out to be his last game for the club, having appeared as a Jag on 22 occasions.

Jukka's club-list included Jokerit, HJK Helsinki, Rangers, Partick Thistle, Nordsjælland, Mjällby, Haka, Rovaniemen Palloseura, KooTeePee, PK-35 Vantaa and Kotkan Työväen Palloilijat.
