Bio Extra

One of the most popular Thistle players to have played with the club. Was brought to Firhill by Billy Lamont in 1988 and was one of the few players to remain at the club after John Lambie assumed control. He had just turned full time when he suffered a serious leg break in a match against Morton. After over a year spent on the sidelines, John returned to the side and was well on the way to a full recovery when he sustained another leg break in a cup-tie at Hibs this time ending his career. Had a Thistle fanzine, The Johnny Flood Experience, named after him.
