John Morrison was born on Monday, 27th July, 1970, in Kettering, Northamptonshire. The defender joined Murdo MacLeod's Thistle for a trial period in July, 1996, having most recently been with Irvine Meadow XI. Aged 25, he made his debut appearance on Thursday, 25th July, 1996, in a 3-0 friendly win away to Ards. John scored his only goal for Thistle on Tuesday, 30th July, 1996, in a 3-0 friendly win away to Glentoran. He played his last game for the club on Friday, 2nd August, 1996, in a 1-1 friendly draw at home to Preston North End, having appeared as a Jag on 4 occasions. John's club-list included Torquay United, Salisbury City, Irvine Meadow XI, Partick Thistle, Pollok and Rothesay Brandane. |
