 John Faulds was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The 5' 8 (12st 0lbs) midfielder signed for Thistle in March, 1898. He made his first known appearance on Saturday, 19th March, 1898, in a 3-0 friendly win at home to St Mirren. There were no known goals for John during his spell with Thistle. He played his last known game for the club on Monday, 15th August, 1898, in an 8-0 friendly defeat away to Linthouse, having appeared for the Thistle on at least 5 occasions. His club-list included Partick Thistle and Burnley. We don't know where or when John died. *
