James Crozier was probably born in the 1860s or early 1870s, and is most likely to be Scottish. * The goalkeeper signed for Thistle on Wednesday, 9th August, 1893, having most recently been with Clyde. He made his first known appearance on Saturday, 19th August, 1893, in a 3-2 win away to Morton in the SFL Second Division. James kept his first known clean-sheet on Saturday, 23rd September, 1893, in a 2-0 friendly win at home to Northern. He registered the last of his 3 known clean-sheets on Saturday, 17th February, 1894, in a 5-0 friendly win at home to Port Glasgow Athletic. He played his last known game for the club on Saturday, 22nd February, 1896, in a 5-3 defeat at home to Leith Athletic in the SFL Second Division, having appeared for the Thistle on at least at least 49 occasions. His club-list included Clyde, Partick Thistle and Woolwich Arsenal. We don't know where or when James died. *
