Jake Colin Hastie was born on Thursday, 18th March, 1999, in Law, South Lanarkshire.

The 5'11 (11st 11lbs) forward temporarily transferred to Ian McCall's Thistle on Monday, 16th August, 2021, from his parent club, Rangers.

He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 28th August, 2021, in a 3-0 win at home to Greenock Morton in the SPFL Championship.

There were no goals for Jake during his spell with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 30th October, 2021, in a 0-0 draw at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the SPFL Championship, having appeared as a Jag on 6 occasions.

At September, 2024, Jake's club-list included Motherwell, Airdrieonians, Alloa Athletic, Rangers, Rotherham United, Partick Thistle, Linfield, Hartlepool United, Hamilton Academical and Ayr United.
