 Hugh Reid was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The forward signed for George Easton's Thistle on Thursday, 29th October, 1925, having most recently been with Ashfield. He made his only appearance on Saturday, 7th November, 1925, in a 3-1 defeat away to Dundee in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Hugh in his one-off appearance for Thistle. His club-list included Ashfield, Partick Thistle, Stenhousemuir and Dumbarton. We don't know where or when Hugh died. *
