Bio Extra

Harry was a youth player with Aberdeen, and had his first experience of the men's game with his hometown team, Banchory St Ternan. John Sheran signed him for the ambitious Cove Rangers of the Highland League in 2015, from where he was sent out on loan to Culter Juniors for a season. It was an exciting time to be involved at Cove, who moved in to their new home, the Balmoral Stadium, in 2018. Harry was a key component in the Cove side which gained promotion via the SPFL play-offs in 2019, and was vital to the Toonsers cause as they sensationally secured the League Two title at the first time of asking, registering a 100% win rate at home! As Thistle know, Cove were a very tough opponent in the 2020-21 term that followed, conceding just 18 goals in the shortened 22 game League campaign. Milne caught the eye of Thistle manager Ian McCall at that time and a seed was sown. The attacking full-back made 28 league appearances in 2021-22, scoring six goals and providing seven assists as Cove secured their third League title in four seasons. He was duly nominated for the third tier's Player of the Year award, and also won the club's own Player of the Year award as well as the Player's Player of the Year. Honouring his earlier pre-contract agreement, the 25-year-old signed a two year deal with Thistle in the summer of 2022, and was delighted to be getting his first taste of full-time football. A one-year extension (to May 2025) was announced in August 2023.
