 George Robertson was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The defender signed for George Easton's Thistle on Thursday, 8th March, 1917, having most recently been with Pollok. He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 24th March, 1917, in a 1-0 defeat away to Hibernian in the Scottish Football League. There were no goals for George during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 10th May, 1919, in a 2-1 friendly defeat away to Bathgate, having appeared as a Jag on 8 occasions. His club-list included Pollok, Partick Thistle and Dumbarton Harp. We don't know where or when George died. *
