| George Lyon |
George Lyon was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The midfielder signed for George Easton's Thistle on Wednesday, 17th August, 1921, having most recently been with Whiteinch Glenburn. He made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 23rd August, 1921, in a 3-3 draw at home to Clydebank FC in a Benefit match. There were no goals for George during his spell with Thistle. He played his second and last game for the club on Wednesday, 7th September, 1921, in a 3-2 defeat away to Hamilton Academical in the SFL First Division. His club-list included Whiteinch Glenburn, Partick Thistle and Mid Rhondda United. We don't know where or when George died. *
