 Gavin Griffin was born on Friday, 17th September, 1993, in Bellshill, North Lanarkshire. The 5' 9 (11st 2lbs) defender signed for Jackie McNamara's Thistle on Thursday, 30th June, 2011, having most recently been with Motherwell. Aged 17, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 19th July, 2011, in a 4-1 friendly defeat away to Dumbarton. There were no goals for Gavin during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 28th April, 2012, in a 1-1 draw at home to Falkirk in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 3 occasions. Gavin's club-list included Motherwell, Partick Thistle, Airdrie United and Cambuslang Rangers. |
