Bio Extra

Joined Thistle from St Mirren in the 88/89 season and was a regular feature of the Thistle side for the next few seasons. A highly versatile player, he could play equally well in a number of different positions. A very nasty injury sustained in a pre-season friendly in the summer of 1991 ruled him out for nearly the whole of the 91/92 season but he did return in the closing weeks of the season, playing in the crucial match against Forfar Athletic, to help Thistle over the promotion finishing line. He continued to play with Thistle in the Premier League before trying his luck in Northern Ireland playing with top sides Linfield and Portadown. Returned to Scotland for a spell in Junior Football.
