 Drew Clarke was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The 5' 8 (10st 10lbs) forward signed for Willie Thornton's Thistle on Tuesday, 21st June, 1966, having most recently been with Shettleston Juniors. He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 17th September, 1966, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Clyde in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Drew during his spell with Thistle. He played his second and last game for the club on Saturday, 24th September, 1966, in a 7-0 defeat away to Hibernian in the SFL First Division. Drew's club-list included Shettleston Juniors, Partick Thistle, Ayr United, Rhyl and Clydebank.
