David Wilson was born on Tuesday, 6th September, 1994, in Glasgow.

The 6' 0 (11st 0lbs) midfielder signed for Jackie McNamara's Thistle on Thursday, 9th June, 2011, having most recently been with Raith Rovers Boys Club.

Aged 16, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 19th July, 2011, in a 4-1 friendly defeat away to Dumbarton.

There were no goals for David during his spell with Thistle.

He played his last game for the club on Wednesday, 26th October, 2016, in a 2-0 win away to Dundee in the SPFL Premiership, having appeared as a Jag on 39 occasions.

At August, 2022, David's club-list included Partick Thistle, Stranraer, Dumbarton, Annan Athletic, Stirling Albion and Albion Rovers.
