 David Forsyth was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The defender signed for Thistle in August, 1902, having most recently been with Partick Athletic. He made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 19th August, 1902, in a 4-0 friendly win at home to Third Lanark. There were no goals for David during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Monday, 8th May, 1905, in a 3-0 win at home to Celtic in a Benefit match, having appeared as a Jag on 8 occasions. His club-list included Co-Operative United, Partick Athletic, Partick Thistle and Arthurlie. We don't know where or when David died. *
