Bio Extra

After a great season at Lochburn Park in which the 'Hill did the Charity Cup, League Cup & Glasgow Cup treble, this right half was snapped up by Donald Turner in the summertime of 1945, just as the Jags were embarking on their exciting road to Hampden via the Summer Cup. We can only imagine that the step up proved to be be too much as he made only one appearance for the first team, in November 1945, standing in for the injured Hugh Brown. 9,000 at Brockville saw the home side take the points by 2 goals to one. His services weren't retained the following season and we don't know what happened to him after that, so please do let us know if you can help fill in any of the blanks.
