![]() Daniel Joseph Lennon was born on Sunday, 6th April, 1969, in Whitburn, West Lothian. The 5' 7 (10st 10lbs) midfielder signed for John Lambie's Thistle in December, 1999, having most recently been with Ross County. Aged 30, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 18th December, 1999, in a 1-0 win at home to Stenhousemuir in the SFL Second Division. Danny scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 8th January, 2000, in a 2-1 win at home to East Stirlingshire in the Scottish Cup. He scored the last of his 18 goals on Saturday, 9th February, 2002, in a 4-1 win at home to Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Wednesday, 2nd August, 2006, in a 2-2 draw at home to Celtic XI in a Benefit match, having clocked up 125 appearances as a Jag. Danny's club-list included Hibernian, Raith Rovers, Ayr United, Ross County, Partick Thistle, Gretna, Workington and Cowdenbeath. |
