Daniel Ross was born in Kelso, Roxburghshire, circa 1908. * The 5' 10 (11st 7lbs) defender signed for George Easton's Thistle on Saturday, 5th January, 1929, having most recently been with St Andrews United. He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 5th October, 1929, in a 3-2 win at home to Kilmarnock in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Daniel during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 24th January, 1931, in a 2-0 win away to East Fife in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 3 occasions. His club-list included St Andrews United, Partick Thistle and Montrose. We don't know where or when Daniel died. *
