Conor Sammon was born on Thursday, 6th November, 1986, in Dublin. The 6' 3 (12st 5lbs) forward temporarily transferred to Alan Archibald's Thistle on Friday, 11th August, 2017, from his parent club, Heart of Midlothian. Aged 30, he made his debut appearance on Friday, 11th August, 2017 in a 1-0 defeat at home to Celtic in the SPFL Premiership. Conor scored his first goal for Thistle on Wednesday, 13th December, 2017, in a 3-2 win at home to Motherwell in the SPFL Premiership. He scored the last of his 10 goals on Saturday, 28th April, 2018, in a 1-1 draw away to St Johnstone in the SPFL Premiership. Conor played his last game for the club on Sunday, 20th May, 2018, in a 1-0 defeat at home to Livingston in the SPFL Premiership play-off Final, having appeared as a Jag on 37 occasions. At September, 2021, his club list included University College Dublin, Derry City, Kilmarnock, Wigan Athletic, Derby County, Ipswich Town, Rotherham United, Sheffield United, Heart of Midlothian, Partick Thistle, Motherwell, Falkirk and Alloa Athletic. |
