Colin Charles Chad Lyman was born on Monday, 9th March, 1914, in Northampton, Northamptonshire.

The forward appeared as a guest for Donald Turner's Thistle in October, 1944, having most recently been with Tottenham Hotspur.

Aged 30, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 21st October, 1944, in an 8-0 defeat away to Hibernian in the Southern League.

There were no goals for Colin during his spell with Thistle.

He played his second and last game for the club on Saturday, 28th October, 1944, in a 3-1 defeat at home to Motherwell in the Southern League.

His club-list included Rushden Town, West Bromwich Albion, Southend United, Northampton Town, Tottenham Hotspur, Partick Thistle, Port Vale, Nottingham Forest, Notts County, Nuneaton Borough, Long Eaton Town and British Timken.

Colin died on Friday, 9th May, 1986, in Cambridge, aged 72.
