Colin Brodie was born on Thursday, 13th August, 1964, in Glasgow.

The goalkeeper temporarily transferred to Derek Johnstone's Thistle on Saturday, 4th October, 1986, from his parent club, Clydebank.

Aged 22, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 4th October, 1986, in a 2-2 draw away to Dumbarton in the SFL First Division.

There were no clean-sheets for Colin during his spell with Thistle.

He played his second and last game for the club on Wednesday, 8th October, 1986, in a 1-1 draw at home to Forfar Athletic in the SFL First Division.

Colin's club-list included Clydebank and Partick Thistle.

Bio Extra

With injuries to Jim Stewart and John Brough, Derek Johnstone required a temporary goalkeeper. Colin, understudy to Jim Gallacher, was signed on-loan from Clydebank. Played just two matches before Brough regained fitness, and he returned to Kilbowie.
