Bio Extra

Vastly experienced midfielder signed from Clydebank in the summer of 1989, after spells with Hamilton and Motherwell. Spent a couple of seasons at Firhill, skippering the side for much of the 89/90 season. An intelligent player who could read the game superbly, he was voted Programme Player of the Year in 1990. However, his temper often got him into trouble with referees, and when he lost some of his fitness early in season 90/91, he was allowed to leave the club, and returned to Clydebank.
