Bio Extra

Man of many clubs, Bobby had been previously with Hibs, Leicester, Peterborough and Dunfermline before John Lambie brought him to Firhill in the summer of 1989. Signed as a stop-gap left back he did a good job, and despite his age he showed a good level of fitness. Although he only stayed at Firhill for one season his experience in the left back slot was invaluable as Thistle climbed to the top of the league in the early stages of the season. Scored one competitive goal in Thistle colours - a long range effort against Clydebank. Released at the end of the season, Bobby joined Berwick Rangers in the Second Division.
