Robert McCulley was born on Tuesday, 2nd December, 1952, in Glasgow.

The 5' 4 (10st 3lbs) midfielder was a trialist for Billy Lamont's Thistle in July, 1988, having most recently been with Shettleston Juniors.

Aged 35, he made his only appearance on Saturday, 30th July, 1988, in a 2-0 friendly win away to Alloa Athletic.

There were no goals for Bobby in his one-off appearance for Thistle.

Bobby's club-list included St Roch's, Hamilton Academical, East Stirlingshire, Ayr United, Dumbarton, Falkirk, Stirling Albion, Shettleston Juniors and Partick Thistle.
