He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 25th November, 1922, in a 2-1 win at home to Aberdeen in the SFL First Division. Archie scored his only goal for Thistle on Wednesday, 7th February, 1923, in a 3-3 draw away to Airdrieonians in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 15th March, 1924, in a 1-1 draw away to Airdrieonians in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 11 occasions. His club-list included Queen's Park, Partick Thistle and Queen of the South. We don't know where or when Archie died. *
