Andrew Gordon Wilkinson was born on Monday, 6th August, 1984, in Yarnfield, Staffordshire. The 5' 11 (12st 8lbs) defender temporarily transferred to Derek Whyte & Gerry Britton's Thistle in July, 2004, from his parent club, Stoke City. Aged 19, he made his debut appearance on Monday, 12th July, 2004, in a 2-0 friendly win away to Stenhousemuir. Andy scored his only goal for Thistle on Saturday, 11th December, 2004, in a 1-1 draw away to Clyde in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 1st January, 2005, in a 1-1 draw away to St Mirren in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 20 occasions. Andy's club-list included Stoke City, Telford United, Partick Thistle, Shrewsbury Town, Blackpool and Millwall. |
