![]() Andrew Swann was born in 1878 in Dalbeattie, Dumfries and Galloway. * The 5' 8 (10st 11lbs) forward signed for George Easton's Thistle on Tuesday, 16th May, 1905, having most recently been with Tottenham Hotspur. Aged 26 or 27, he made his debut appearance on Tuesday, 15th August, 1905, in a 3-2 friendly defeat at home to St Mirren. Andy scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 7th October, 1905, in a 2-1 win at home to Morton in the SFL First Division. He scored his second and final goal for the club on Saturday, 28th April, 1906, in a 2-1 defeat away to St Mirren in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for Thistle on Saturday, 28th April, 1906, in a 2-1 defeat away to St Mirren in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 26 occasions. His club-list included Lincoln City, New Brompton, Barnsley, Woolwich Arsenal, Gainsborough Trinity, Stockport County, St Mirren, Mexborough United, Tottenham Hotspur, Partick Thistle and Blackpool.
