Andrew Davidson was born in Glasgow, although his date of birth remains unknown to us. * The 5' 8 (11st 10lbs) forward signed for George Easton's Thistle on Friday, 31st July, 1908, having most recently been with Croydon Common. He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 15th August, 1908, in a 4-1 defeat away to Kilmarnock in the SFL First Division. Andrew scored his only goal for Thistle on Thursday, 20th August, 1908, in a 3-2 win away to Clyde in a Benefit match. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 29th August, 1908, in a 1-0 defeat away to Morton in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 4 occasions. His club-list included Duntocher Hibernian, Clyde, West Ham United, Leyton, Burnley, Croydon Common, Partick Thistle, Glentoran, Belfast Celtic, Distillery and Swansea Town. We don't know where or when Andrew died. *
