 Allan John Russell was born on Saturday, 13th December, 1980, in Glasgow. The 6' 1 (12st 1lbs) forward signed for Dick Campbell's Thistle on Thursday, 11th January, 2007, having most recently been with Forest Green Rovers. Aged 26, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 13th January, 2007, in a 2-2 draw at home to Gretna in the SFL First Division. Allan scored his only goal for Thistle on Saturday, 17th February, 2007, in a 1-0 win away to Livingston in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 28th April, 2007, in a 0-0 draw at home to Livingston in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 17 occasions. Allan's club-list included Rangers, Hibernian, Hamilton Academical, St Mirren, Mansfield Town, Forest Green Rovers, Partick Thistle, Airdrie United, Kilmarnock, Carolina Railhawks and Orange County Blues. |
