Allan Gray |
Allan Gray was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The forward signed for George Easton's Thistle on Saturday, 4th May, 1907, having most recently been with Kilbirnie Ladeside. He made his debut appearance on Thursday, 15th August, 1907, in a 4-0 friendly defeat at home to Clyde. Allan scored his only two goals for Thistle on the same day; on Thursday, 2nd January, 1908, in a 3-2 defeat away to Rangers in the SFL First Division. He played his last game for the club on Monday, 20th April, 1908, in a 2-1 defeat away to Third Lanark in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 19 occasions. His club-list included Kilbirnie Ladeside, Partick Thistle and Abercorn. We don't know where or when Allan died. *
