Alex Davidson was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The midfielder signed for George Easton's Thistle on Tuesday, 29th November, 1910. He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 10th December, 1910, in a 2-0 defeat away to Airdrieonians in the SFL First Division. There were no goals for Alex during his time with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Saturday, 27th December, 1913, in a 2-0 defeat away to Kilmarnock in the SFL First Division, having appeared as a Jag on 22 occasions. His club-list included Partick Thistle, Kilmarnock and Dumbarton. We don't know where or when Alex died. *
