Aaron Taylor-Sinclair was born on Monday, 8th April, 1991, in Aberdeen.

The 6' 0 (12st 8lbs) defender signed for Jackie McNamara's Thistle on Tuesday, 5th July, 2011 (after a trial game), having most recently been with Montrose.

Aged 20, he made his debut appearance on Saturday, 2nd July, 2011, in a 2-0 friendly defeat away to Blyth Spartans.

Aaron scored his first goal for Thistle on Saturday, 31st March, 2012, in a 3-2 defeat at home to Livingston in the SFL First Division.

He scored the last of his 6 goals on Saturday, 19th April, 2014, in a 2-1 win away to Kilmarnock in the SPFL Premiership.

He played his last game for the club on Wednesday, 7th May, 2014, in a 4-2 win away to Heart of Midlothian in the SPFL Premiership, having clocked up 128 appearances as a Jag.

At July, 2023, Aaron's club-list included Montrose, Partick Thistle, Wigan Athletic, Doncaster Rovers, Plymouth Argyle, Motherwell, Crewe Alexandra, Livingston, Falkirk and Airdrieonians.

A left sided defender who can play at both left centre back and left back, Aaron began his career with Montrose before signing for First Division Partick Thistle on 5 July 2011, where he signed a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee. He made his competitive debut during a 2–1 victory against Stenhousemuir in the Scottish Challenge Cup on 23 July 2011. His impressive form at the start of the season, led to some attraction from English Championship clubs, such as Cardiff City and Southampton, and he was given the SFL Young Player of the Month award for October 2011. Taylor-Sinclair played an instrumental part in season 2012–13 as Partick Thistle won the First Division Championship. His impressive form at Thistle sparked interest from Glasgow rivals Celtic and from English clubs including Cardiff City and Middlesbrough. After leaving Thistle, Aaron moved to England, playing for Wigan Athletic in the Championship and League One sides Doncaster Rovers and Plymouth Argyle. He returned to Scotland in 2018, signing for Motherwell, before joining Livingston in November 2019. The 30-year-old signed for Falkirk for the latter half of their 2021-22, before moving on to Airdrieonians in September 2022, where he took on a player-coach role at the beginning of 2023-24. Aaron has been capped several times at international level for Antigua and Barbuda.
