 A. Gibson (forename unknown) was probably born in Scotland, although his place and date of birth remain unknown to us. * The forward first appeared for Thistle in December, 1942. He made his debut appearance on Saturday, 12th December, 1942, in a 2-1 win at home to Queen's Park in the Southern League. There were no goals for Gibson during his spell with Thistle. He played his last game for the club on Friday, 1st January, 1943, in a 4-1 defeat away to Clyde in the Southern League, having appeared as a Jag on 3 occasions. Gibson's known club-list included only Partick Thistle.
