– A well contested game, but Thistle should've won on chances. A drilled-in ball from the left was slid home (49) but Jags responded well, coming close a couple of times before Lawless’ cross was knocked into the path of Falconer (captain for the day) who swivelled on the spot and cracked a shot into the net from six yards (62). The final whistle was blown and a bonus point shoot-out was called for, with Thistle winning 6-5 after 16 kicks thanks to counters from the (right-back) trialist, Horn, McBeth, Aobahan, Falconer and Dolan.
